Superior Soccer Academy (or SSA) is geared to boys and girls age 8 to 18 years old who want to become better soccer players. Every aspect of SSA is built to challenge you, the player, in a fun way so to encourage learning and the love of soccer. Only though challenging the players will they get better. Every player dreams of playing at the highest level whether it be for the club team, high school varsity, or in college. These dreams are realized by mastery of the technical aspects at a young age, tactical creativity and understanding, peek physical conditioning, and mental focus and concentration. The knowledge and experience of our professional coaches will allow each player to reach their full capability through proper teaching of the most basic to the most advanced skills.
Please make sure to bring indoor (flat bottom) soccer shoes and a soccer ball with you.
Program Format
We will have practice on Monday Nights at The Multiplex for nine weeks (Session 1: Starting November 8th, 2010 and running until January 10th, 2011) (Session 2: Starting January 17th, 2011 and running until March 21st, 2011) The program is designed to maximize each player's experience utilizing an age appropriate format. The sessions will consist of drills & games that work on the different aspects of dribbling, passing, foot skills and ball control.
Staff
The Coaching Staff of the Cleveland Blues is made up of former Pro players, College Coaches, High School Coaches, and former College Players. Each one is dedicated to teach the game as well as the love of the game. Each player will be exposed to our specialized staff of club coaches that are handpicked for their excellence in training younger aged players.
