BIO:

Simon was born in July 1958 in Israel.
He started playing soccer when he was 5 or 6 years old in a club called Macabe Jaffa.
When Simon turned 16 he played in his first professional soccer game for the Macabe Jaffa team.

Simon was also a member of the Israeli Junior National Team and the Israeli Olympic team until 1980 when he moved to the United States. Once here in the US, The Cleveland Force signed him to a 2 year contract and moved him to Cleveland. After playing with the Force in the early 80's Simon once again moved back to Israel and played 2 more years with Macabe Jaffa.

Simon has since moved back to the US making his home in Cleveland once again. Simon is a very knowledgeable and experienced coach and is a great addition to the Cleveland Blues Coaching Staff.
